Richard started spinning vinyl in the early 90s when he was just 18. At first, he was a regular participant in DJ competitions.
But after a while, Richard became such a frequent winner that he came into contact with many pub, club and disco owners.
Richard was quick to note that he enjoyed performing at many different locations.
Within a few years, he was spinning at local clubs: Club Pecheur, De Rechter and De Effenaar.
With these successes under his belt, he was spotted during that time by R&D Productions and wound up
signing a contract as a DJ.
This led to an opportunity to start spinning at other locations in
the country – De Waakzaamheid, at Frequence and at the Blue Beach Party.
And it also led to DJing in other countries: Belgium, Spain, in places like Malgrat de Mar and Salou, and on Ibiza.
This was also when Richard started producing Club music.
These efforts may not have yielded a number one hit as yet, but the future in this direction looks like a sure thing.
Richard’s music has such a fantastic effect on everyone who dances to it that he was asked in 2008 to start
DJing at El Sombrero. Since he and DJ Nick are the resident disc jockeys there,
Richard is still spinning his Club records at El Sombrero.
